Millennium Fellowship Project: Cultural Tech Nexus

Cultural Tech Nexus is a combination of all the goal of MCN fellows in bells university of technology cohort. Cultural Tech Nexus is a project that encompasses various SDG goals,including No poverty, Zero hunger, Quality education, Gender equality, Reduced inequalities, Good health and well-being, Peace justice and strong institutions, Sustainable cities and communities, Climate action and clean water and sanitation.
Cultural Tech Nexus has three phases
The online phase: this phase encompasses host at least 5 webinars to to enlighten and educate individuals on how to make informed choices for their future careers. These webinars provide thorough insights into various fields of study, empowering participants to make well-informed decisions.
The outreach phase: The first outreach aims to give back to the rural community through an #Everyonemustchao inspired event. We will provide essential supplies, and engage in interactive learning sessions. This outreach is designed to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the community and allow everyone have their feeling of love.
The second outreach focuses on giving back to school children in the rural community. We plan to provide educational resources, school supplies, and engage in interactive learning sessions to inspire and empower these young minds.
The Main Event phase : This event is a grand celebration of our diverse cultural heritage, intertwined with the world of technology. Participants will engage in spirited debates, impromptu speeches, and quizzes—all while adorned in their vibrant cultural attire. The event will also feature captivating cultural dances that will leave the audience enthralled.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ogechukwu Chukwudi is a fourth year biomedical engineering student of Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun state, Nigeria. Oge, as she is fondly called is a volunteer team leader for Younglife Nigeria. Through Younglife she was able to mentor girls and was involved in pad our girls project. She is passionate about young ones, the health sector and socio-economic development of her community.
After her bachelor degree, she wants to pursue her masters degree in biomedical engineering. she enjoys traveling, learning about cultural heritage.
She’s loves playing chess and tennis.
