Millennium Fellowship Project: The Wind in the Willows

Our project is to build a workshop for both autistic and visually impaired children, to make them “be heard and be seen”. It is a platform combines both acoustic and visual aid for the children, with podcast about them and other relevant parties (Parents, organizations, schools), merch made from their works of art selling among university students, and voluntary companionship with them.

About the Millennium Fellow

Yutong Qian is a sophomore from China, studying economics, diplomacy, international governance, and public policy at Peking University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Keele University. She believes that social innovation and the connection between humans remain an effective way to find a sense of order in a chaotic world.
