Millennium Fellowship Project: Menstrual Health Drive

An outreach session where sexual and reproductive health experts came and handled the education and sensitization concerning proper menstrual
hygiene, debunking the myths surrounding menstruation and menstrual health.
There was also a menstrual health drive where we went to a secondary school in Iwo community in Osun state, Nigeria and built on the foundational knowledge created by the sexual and reproductive health experts.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ebunoluwa Obanisola is a current 3rd year medical student of Bowen University, Iwo, Osun state, Nigeria. Ari is passionate about the protection of sexual and reproductive health and rights of the female gender. Through her project, she hopes to enlighten young women and teenage girls on the danger of teenage pregnancy and how they can avoid it, staying hygienic menstrally and protecting themselves.After she graduates, Ari plans to own a NGO committed to this goal.
