Millennium Fellowship Project: Heritage Memory
Our project is to recreate heritage sites in Türkiye, including ancient cities in the plan. Our main goal to eternalize these places on the metaverse is to make them accessible to the whole country and world. Moreover, recreate their image online “protecting” them from eventual damages from climate change and natural disasters. We aim to make these sites as accessible as possible. We added guided tours making the sites interactive. To achieve accessibility to these guided tours we added a variety of language choices. In addition to the audio, subtitles, audio descriptions and sign language support. Also, one of our main goals in recreating these sites online is to show the importance is protecting and keeping alive our culture through our cultural heritage.

Hı ı am Berivan pektaş and ı am 22 years old. I live in Türkiye and ı am a university student. My major is translation and interpretation. In my free times ı like playıng computer games and chat with people all around the world.
