Millennium Fellowship Project: Just Transitions

Our project – Just Transitions – is dedicated to strengthening commitments to a sustainable future within and beyond the University of Cambridge. We are compiling the Student Stocktake Report to parallel the 2023 Global Stocktake
Report, the first extensive assessment of global action post-Paris Agreement. The student stocktake Report will amplify youth initaitivesin climate policy. Throughout the fellowship we have brought together staff and students to develop a framework for championing young people’s voices within our university.

About the Millennium Fellow

Rose is aspiring climate activist, keen to support the realisation of global climate governance through the lens of social justice. As an undergraduate of History and Politics at the University of Cambridge, she works as Green Officer of Lucy Cavendish College and Policy Lead with the Cambridge Climate Society to affect positive change in her community.
She is also a member of Chatham House’s youth platform, ‘Common Futures Conversations’, bringing young voices into the development of international policy. Through her project she hopes her university can make steps towards becoming not only a champion of sustainability, but of climate justice.
