Millennium Fellowship Project: Menstrual Sanitation Awareness Project
Our project focused on educating the menstruating population regarding sustainable menstrual products and creating awareness regarding how using such products will help combat pollution.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hazel Simon is a senior Bachelor of Commerce student at Christ University in Bengaluru, KA, India. Hazel is passionate about furthering the education of underprivileged youth beyond primary level schooling and advancing beyond the four walls of a classroom. She believes in the importance of financial literacy and empowering young minds to be self-reliant. As a native of one of the world's rising economies, she believes there's so much potential that's left to be utilized. Through her project, she hopes to help the region become a global superpower. Hazel plans to earn a Masters in Business Administration and branch out in the consulting field as well as try her hand in the Union Public Service and become an Indian Foreign Service Officer.
