About the Millennium Fellow
Lavanya Jena is an undergraduate student pursuing Economics (Honors) at Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. Lavanya strives to be a passionate educator because she believes change starts with awareness. She is keen on learning about the socio-economics of sustainable transitions, the role of the government and corporations and the interaction between poverty and climate change. She is also a representative of the Sustainable Development Goals Cell at university and is attempting to build a grassroots movement, encouraging a sustainable lifestyle among the youth.
