Millennium Fellowship Project: Insightful Spheres
My project Insightful Spheres revolves around the creation of a knowledge ball which will impact different lives. I selected SDG Goal 10 for my project i.e. Reduced Inequalities. To bring the change I wanted to be the change first, so I started with gathering as much as information from all possible sources I could manage, including a discussion with one of the specialists, who is a professor at my university, in the particular field of sustainability.
People harbour a lot of perceptions and feelings towards individuals around us, and the abstraction and allocation of the resource also inculcates the increasing social inequality. I targeted inequality in two of my sub-projects:
1. Gender Inequality
2. Social Inequality
About the Millennium Fellow
Priyanshi Dumka is BBA ( Finance and Accounts) student at Christ University Yeshwanthpur Campus Bangalore . Priyanshi is passionate about how the individual can have an impact on the world around them through social and political actions. As an Indian native, much of her education focused on the region's role and more keen towards doing something for the society and surroundings. That something she is taking her as inspiration and going ahead. Through her project, she hopes to help the people around, her impact on society as well. After she graduates, she plans to earn a master's degree in international development or international relations and work in a field regarding human security.
