Millennium Fellowship Project: Project HOPE: Holistic and Overall Progress for Everyone

Project HOPE (Acronym for Holistic and Overall Progress for Everyone) is a group project led by the Millennium fellows of cohort- Christ (Deemed to be University) Delhi NCR campus. The project aims at providing quality education and good health to the children and women respectively. The project will focus on the SDGs goals- Quality education, Good health & well being and gender equality. During the session, project hope will visit 4 NGOs where the modules on good touch and bad touch, menstrual hygiene, etc. created by the fellows will be taught to the orphan children and women. We chose this project because we believe that education and good health are the basic necessities in today's world and education is the key that will open the door for gender egalitarianism.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ruukuonuo Liegise is a student of Christ deemed to be University. She is an aspiring media student and has the vision to dedicate her life to journalism. As a child she watched her mother involve in social work, to uplift the life of the destitute senior citizens in her state, Nagaland. That was also where Ruukuonuo drew her inspiration from, to participate in social work. She joined an NGO called Good Samaritan Women Society when she was in grade ten and has since continued to contribute to it passionately.
