" My sincerity and my obedience towards my work drives me to reach my goal. Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will be an opportunity to contribute actively to the society. It will offer a platform to collaborate with like-minded peers, gain valuable skills, and make a positive impact in the society thereby helping me turn my words into reality. I truly believe that we all cannot do great things but we can be a small drop in the ocean. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: SKILL SMART

SKILL SMART, headed by Millennium Fellow and Campus Director Tanya Jaiswal, is an independent initiative aimed at advancing Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. The project is dedicated to ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all, particularly targeting students in government schools from 6th to 10th grade. SKILL SMART focuses on enhancing students' lives by fostering English literacy and providing a carefully curated skill development plan. By equipping students with language proficiency and essential skills, the project not only facilitates academic success but also promotes cognitive development and a positive mindset.

Additionally, she fostered the importance of peer learning groups among school students, engaged in offline volunteering at schools by herself, created engaging educational content to enhance classroom experiences, conducted one-on-one mentoring sessions, and monitored various activities to ensure the effectiveness of her project making it a success.
