Millennium Fellowship Project: SKILL SMART
SKILL SMART is an independent project led by me Millennium Fellow and campus director Tanya Jaiswal. The project aims at brightening students' lives with the light of English literacy and a well-curated skill set plan. It will be a helping hand to students from 6th to 10th grade in government schools and slum areas. This will help them not only in attaining greater academic achievement but also with cognitive development and a positive attitude. Teaching them language and necessary skills will act as building blocks of vocabulary and communication skills.
The events conducted are a mix of awareness campaigns, workshops, webinars, peer learning groups, offline volunteering groups, content creation, one-to-one session programs, monitoring, and much more.
About the Millennium Fellow
Tanya Jaiswal is a passionate, and dynamic architecture student at Christ (Deemed to be University) Kengeri Campus, Bangalore, India. She is a sensitized and informed individual who believes that she cannot do great things by herself but can be a small drop in the ocean of change for the betterment of society. Since the beginning, she has been a keen academician, a creative individual, and an expressive orator. She likes to be in leadership positions and is exploring her way to pursue new opportunities and experiences through design.
