Millennium Fellowship Project: Project EcoFemPower

EcoFemPower is a dynamic Instagram Reel series initiated by Millennium Fellows Yatin Arora and Praneetha Bandaru. This project aims to empower and educate people on the critical intersection of environmental sustainability and feminism, commonly known as ecofeminism. Through a series of engaging and informative Instagram Reels, EcoFemPower will explore various aspects of ecofeminism, including how environmental issues disproportionately affect women, the role of women in conservation and sustainability, and the connections between gender equality and a healthier planet.
Yatin and Praneetha will conduct interviews with experts in the field, allowing them to share their insights and research on ecofeminism. By creating a minimum of 5 informative and visually compelling Reels, they aspire to reach a minimum of 1000 people, raising awareness about the importance of ecofeminism and inspiring action towards a more equitable and sustainable world. The EcoFemPower series will serve as an accessible and engaging resource for those who want to understand, appreciate, and contribute to the ecofeminist movement, forging a brighter and more equitable future for all.
