Millennium Fellowship Project: Impact-Driven Tropical Forest Restoration and Business Strategies in Brazil
My project aims to gather relevant stakeholders to foster investment in the Amazon region.
About the Millennium Fellow
Daniel is currently a rising Senior enrolled in the Dual BA program between Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris, majoring in Sustainable Development and Business Management.
In both his academic and professional pursuits, Daniel has honed his understanding of Climate Justice, specifically as it relates to ESG Investing within Latin American capital markets, carbon markets, and the lithium industry. His studies and experiences have allowed him to explore the intersection of economic development, environmental sustainability, and social equity, key pillars of Climate Justice.
Additionally, Daniel holds a position on the Executive Team of the Brazil Climate Summit, a student-led organization at Columbia Business School. Daniel's interests lie in understanding how Climate Justice can be embedded in business strategies, policy-making, and community actions to ensure sustainable and equitable growth for all. He is particularly keen on exploring the role of Climate Justice in shaping a sustainable and equitable future, specifically in Latin America
