Millennium Fellowship Project: New York City Stormwater Flood Resiliency
My project seeks to map out flooding vulnerabilities within New York, focusing from stormwater flooding today to 2080. I have mapped stormwater flooding in New York in conjunction to median household income levels, new housing developments, demographic data, and more.
About the Millennium Fellow
Jessica Cheng is senior at Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris, as part of the Dual BA program. Jessica spent her first two years of her undergraduate studies at Sciences Po majoring in Political Humanities with a concentration in the Middle East & North Africa region. Now, she is studying Sustainable Development at Columbia University. As a globally-minded individual passionate about environmental sustainability and justice, Jessica hopes to advance sustainability efforts in her local community to align with international development goals.
