Millennium Fellowship Project: Money Talks
My project - Money Talks - is an organization that teaches personal finance and financial literacy to students at Park East High School in Harlem. In these 1-hour after-school lessons, we cover topics including taxes, saving and investing, cryptocurrency, and opportunity costs, among others. Students apply their learning through engaging debates, hands-on activities, and case studies. Because of our project's initial success over the past year, we are in the process of trying to scale this program to 5 other schools during the next year.
