Millennium Fellowship Project: Peer2Peer College Prep
Peer2Peer College Prep is a workshop designed for low-income high school students to receive the support and mentorship they need to find success in their college application process. The workshop provides the students with the materials and guidance necessary to complete their Common Application Personal Statement essay.
About the Millennium Fellow
Crystal Millar, a junior at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, USA, is studying government and environmental sustainability. With a passion for community empowerment, she founded Peer2Peer College Prep, a workshop aiding underprivileged high school students in their college application journey. Additionally, as a mentor of Cornell’s College and Career Readiness Initiative program, Crystal guides low-income minority high school students through the college application process. Beyond academics, she finds joy in community service, track & field, volleyball, and artistic pursuits. After she graduates, Crystal plans on attending law school with a goal of practicing environmental law.
