Millennium Fellowship Project: Ecologene

Our project Ecologene aims to deal with the issue of excessive plastic usage and
littering in our local area of Bangladesh which located in University of Chittagong,
Chattogram. To address these issues, we target was to supply some samples of jute
bags as alternative to plastic bags in our local grocery shops and customers and to
provide some leaflets for public awareness.

About the Millennium Fellow

Fahrial Imrose is an undergraduate student studying environmental science in University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Even before studying in environmental science, she reared a consciousness to keep the environment clean and pollution free. She believes that individual action is just as crucial as group efforts to bring about a positive change.
Her academic journey underscores her commitment to addressing global challenges, particularly in climate action and the promotion of sustainable practices. With a fervent interest in contributing to a healthier planet, she aims to inspire positive change and foster environmental awareness by becoming a dedicated environmental researcher.
