Millennium Fellowship Project: Y-Moves

Y-Moves project is jointly implemented by Plan International and Youth Engagement For Sustainability (YES) Bangladesh, a registered youth organisation.
Y-Moves project aims to create a gender equal Bangladesh through building capacity of youth and children and mobilize them as the agent of change.
Y-Moves project mainly target on women empowerment, SRHR issue and Child Rights. The uniqueness of the project is, it focuses on youths and children’s capacity building, through training and sessions. And then they go to their own community and spread awareness about women empowerment and SRHR issues.

About the Millennium Fellow

Lakum Mursalun is young and passionate individual who is currently doing his undergraduate degree in International Relations at University of Chittagong. Apart from being heavily invested in topics like geopolitics, world history, diplomacy, and psychology, he is also a human rights enthusiast and environmental activist. He dreams of a world free of violence, war, and inequality where everyone will be more understanding of each other, being a little selfless towards the society. He aspires to work for the people in need and build a reciprocal world surrounded by empathy, solidarity, and kindness.
