Millennium Fellowship Project: Unity for Humanity
Unity for Humanity- a non profit, non political,social, voluntary organisation.In 17 june
of 2017, I started this as the founder of the organisation,I take this project to insure
human rights & social equity in our country Bangladesh. This is a multidimensional
project which has several fields to work.
There are about 500 members & vuleenter in this project.
I work to ensure foods for the needy peoples, specially the street children & the
orphans, under this project every year I feed more than two thousands people. I
provides foods item to the flood affected people also.
I work to help the needy peoples for their education, more than five hundreds poor
students every year get their educational goods since 2017 by this project.
My main funding comes from our pocket money, as we all are students, I spend a
percentage of our pocket money to help these people.
Many of the deprived people are beneficiary from my project directly at the sametimes
the society is also beneficiary indirectly, as the main motive of my project is to make a
positive change, its a movement by the students to show the society & specially to the
rich people that,if the students can stand besides the poor & backward people why not they? This project gives a clear message to the society.
About the Millennium Fellow
Born with a passion for making a change, Junayed Arafat Arnub is a dedicated individual who is working from high level to turn his dreams of equity into reality. Hailing from Cumilla, Bangladesh, Junayed is pursuing his academic journey in the department of Public Administration at the prestigious University of Chittagong.He is a social worker, a debater connected with many debate clubs and a presenter.
With a heart that resonates with empathy, Junayed founded the volunteer organization "Unity for Humanity" in 2017. This initiative stands as a testament to his commitment to bettering the world. Through "Unity for Humanity," Junayed has orchestrated numerous impactful projects that have touched the lives of countless individuals, spreading positivity and fostering a sense of togetherness.
Not content with just local impact, Junayed's drive led him to be selected for the Millennium Fellowship Program. This recognition reflects his dedication to global progress and his potential to effect substantial change. As a Millennium Fellow, he's contributing to a network of young leaders who are collectively working towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Junayed's story is one of determination, compassion, and a relentless pursuit of creating a social change & make impect to the society from students life. His journey serves as an inspiration to those who aspire to create meaningful change in the world.
