Millennium Fellowship Project: Y-Moves
Y-Moves is a project jointly cooperated by Plan International and Youth Engagement for Sustainability, Bangladesh. It is a registered and well known youth organization. The objective of Y-Moves is to enhance the rights of youth in Bangladesh, particularly girls, in areas such as participation, protection, sexual and reproductive health. The ultimate aim is to foster a peaceful society for them by contributing in these areas. The project aims to empower women, strengthen their independence and focus on sexual and reproductive health and children's rights. Young people and children would be able to learn from the training and activities provided to them and will share their learnings and experience about women empowerment, sexual and reproductive health to their respective community. The Y-Moves project is in accordance with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals of promoting gender equality (SDG-5), ensuring good health and well-being (SDG-3), and creating peaceful and inclusive societies (SDG-16).
