Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainable Rural Women Development
In today's fast-changing world, helping women in rural areas is super important. These women face tough challenges, and our "Sustainable Rural Women Development" project under the Millennium Fellowship Program 2023 aims to make a positive impact
Our adventure started by visiting a village near Chittagong University in Bangladesh. We had meaningful talks with the women, learning about their families, education, leisure, and health.
Many women in the village lacked education and knowledge about health services. We emphasized the importance of children's education, community health care, and activities like farming and crafting for financial empowerment. To kickstart this, we gave them vegetable seeds and hens
Our goal was to break the barriers these women face, promoting gender equality and supporting SDGs Goal-5. We believe our project can positively change their lives, providing not just financial stability but also self-reliance. We aim to break the cycle of poverty and inequality.
Through this project, we not only uplifted rural women but also developed our own leadership skills, learned to respect opinions, communicated effectively, showed respect, and worked well in a group. Kudos to The Millennium Fellowship Program 2023 for giving us this platform to make a difference!
