Millennium Fellowship Project: Y-Moves
The Y-Moves project is jointly coordinated by Plan International and Youth Engagement for Sustainability, Bangladesh. This is a registered youth organization. The Y-Moves Project aims to contribute to the development of a peaceful society in Bangladesh by strengthening youth, particularly girls', rights to participation, protection, and sexual reproductive health. The Y-Moves project aims to help women become stronger and more independent, and also focuses on sexual and reproductive health and rights, and children's rights. What's special about the project is that it helps young people and children learn and grow by providing training and activities. Then they go out into their own communities and tell people about women's empowerment and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Y-Moves project is aligned with the United Nations' goals of promoting gender equality (SDG-5), ensuring good health and well-being (SDG-3), and creating peaceful and inclusive societies (SDG-16).
