Millennium Fellowship Project: Ecologene
Our project Ecologene aims to deal with the issue of excessive plastic usage and
littering in our local area of Bangladesh which located in University of Chittagong,
Chattogram. To address these issues, we target was to supply some samples of jute
bags as alternative to plastic bags in our local grocery shops and customers and to
provide some leaflets for public awareness.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sumaiya Shrabon is an economics student of University of Chittagong. She is very passionate about making an impact with her impact even if it means less. As she plans to graduate in Economics, her favourite field to work on has always been environment and nature. She believes in the unity cause if we all unite together, we can save our planet and our mother nature.
