Millennium Fellowship Project: Lovelies initiative
Lovelies is a group project brought to you by Tracy Wanja, Michelle Mwangi, and ArielineSusan Wandia (Millenium Fellows Cuea Cohort). The project is all about bringing mental health awareness to children in terms of art therapy. This is to help gain awareness and have something that can offer them a way of earning money. Our target is to be able to raise awareness of kids' mental health to the world and give hope.
About the Millennium Fellow
Michelle Wairimu Mwangi is a Kenyan National currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Counselling Psychology. She hopes to advance her studies in and specialise in trauma and child psychology. Michelle grew up around people who think mental health issues are just excuses people make up to get out of various situations or for attention. This motivated her to want to change such mentalities and help people living with mental disorders.
