Millennium Fellowship Project: 未来的希望 Wèilái de xīwàng - Future Hope
未来的希望 Wèilái de xīwàng - Future Hope is a project aiming at improving the mental health and well-being of high school students in Kunshan, China. The project involves providing high school students with knowledge and tools allowing them to cope with various stressors and improve their lifestyles and well-being. Throughout the Millennium Fellowship, we will host several informative presentations in a high school in Kunshan, interact with students, and engage them in activities and discussions related to a variety of mental health topics such as self-care, anxiety, stress, etc…
About the Millennium Fellow
Marwa Mouzahim is an undergraduate student at Duke Kunshan University in China majoring in global health, biology track. During her second year of university, Marwa was involved in health education activities for children from a local school in Kunshan. Marwa was also part of a research internship at the School of Medicine and Health Management of Tongji Medical College Huazhong University of Science and Technology regarding digital health in Arab countries, specifically Morocco, and China. In addition, as a global health student passionate about health and social issues, Marwa is interested in the mental health and challenges facing high school students in China. Through this project, Marwa hopes to improve this situation and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
