About the Millennium Fellow
Taisiya Rozenshteyn is a junior political economy student at Duke Kunshan University in Kunshan, China. She is Russian-American. With a keen interest in labor economics, she is passionate about understanding the intricate workings of labor markets and worker behavior. Through her project, Taisiya wants to target the community of Chinese left-behind children, as it is a big issue concerning the rural/urban economic divide and worker migration in China. Taisiya also hopes to create a positive environment for left-behind children that fosters their overall well-being and brings them closer to their caregivers.
