Millennium Fellowship Project: Connecting Seniors to the Digital World

My project aims to address the inequalities in the use of online services that are caused by the lack of digital literacy among elderly individuals. With the widespread use of smartphones, digital services in public places are increasingly being used instead of manual methods, such as using online tickets booking, electronic payments, home delivery, and digital IDs. However, there is a mismatch between the speed at which elderly people adapt to new digital technology and the speed of China's technological change. Therefore, by focusing on this issue, this project aims to teach basic digital skills to the elderly in the local community and enable them to enjoy the convenience of the internet equally.
