Millennium Fellowship Project: Our Voice Against Drug Abuse
Our voice against drug is a collective project carried out by members of Enugu state university of science and technology cohort, which aims at curbing drug abuse from the grassroots. The project would actively host on site sessions in community secondary schools in agbani, Enugu. During this sessions, students would be informed of the dangers that comes with abusing drugs and taught ways to prevent it for a safer health.
About the Millennium Fellow
Izuehie Sophia Nmesomachuwku is a young and exuberant pharmacy student at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria. Sophia’s zeal is born out of desire to make a positive impact in her society and the sense of social responsibility to improve the health and well-being of others.
She volunteered in organizations that promote good health, creating awareness about diseases. She is passionate about networking with people of like minds.
Sophia, hopes to achieve more as a millennial fellow by addressing SDG-3; Good health and well-being and United Nation’s Academic Impact Principle; Sustainability in her society.
