Millennium Fellowship Project: Safe touches: Empowering Awareness
Our project aims to empower children aged up to 15 with essential knowledge and
skills through interactive sessions focused on recognizing the concepts of good touch and bad touch. We are dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment where children can openly discuss personal boundaries, understand the importance of consent, and learn practical strategies on how to seek help in uncomfortable situations. The sessions will cover age-appropriate content, ensuring that children grasp the information in a way that is both informative and engaging.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ambreen Fatima is a young individual who displayed an unwavering determination to bring about positive change in her surrounding from a very young age. Her journey is an inspiring tale of resilience, passion and a deep rooted commitment to making the world a better place. Ambreen Fatima was born in one of the backward areas of her country where where socio-economic disparities and environmental issues were all too apparent. Growing up in such an environment, she developed an acute awareness of the challenges her community faced. However, instead of succumbing to despair, she chose to channel her empathy and concern into constructive action. As she progressed through her academic journey, Ambreen Fatima realized the power of education in driving change. She excelled in her studies, not only to secure a brighter future for herself but also to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact. Her teachers often noticed her inquisitive nature and willingness to explore beyond the classroom, traits that would later define her approach to change-making. Ambreen Fatima is an individual who loves to think out of the box and willing to bring about positive change in her surrounding.
