Millennium Fellowship Project: My Community My Responsibility
Waste Management and sanitation is a major problem in Sierra Leone and the fact here is, many areas are challenged in maintaining proper waste management and proper sanitation, which leads to many health diseases. Most of the public places like schools, universities, our local communities, beaches and many more and not in good conditions and this is putting many lives at risk. If we are the users of these areas, it means we have greater responsibilities. To take up action now, and to influence others to know that it's everyones responsibility to ensure we keep our environment clean. This project was titled MY COMMUNITY MY RESPONSIBILITY and in our local dialect MI COMMUNITY MI RESPONSIBILITY. We have embarked on cleaning, raising awareness through flayers, sensitization videos and Engaged three Media (radio institutions in Sierra Leone, to talk on the Fellowship, proper waste management and sanitation and the responsibilities of governments and citizens.
About the Millennium Fellow
HAJA MARIE MANSARAY, a visual tv content producer / director with over three years' working experience in the field of visual creation.
A level four bachelor's degree civil engineering student of Fourah Bay college, University of Sierra Leone.
Haja Marie Mansaray is a co-founder and co-director of HAJARAJAH GLOBAL MEDIA. A young advertising company that has gained great recognition with most of the big firms and companies in Sierra Leone.
We are the soul contractor responsible for the
documentary of the HANDS OFF OUR GIRLS campaign.
Hajarajah global media was also responsible for all the visual content of the AFRICAN CUP OF NATION- AFCON 2021. and tv game show.
Haja Marie, is not only a successful visual creator but also an Activist for over (7) eight years in the field. And a three (3) years climate change youth advocate.
I hope to develop leadership skills and establish great relationships with other fellows across the world.
I am so thrilled and excited to be a member of the class of 2023 millennium fellowship and I look forward to connecting.
