Millennium Fellowship Project: Basic Tech skills workshop

The project basically involves helping undergraduate students find their footing on LinkedIn, showing them the advantages of staying active on the platform, and guiding them on how to harness all the resources available to either advance their career or land a dream job. This was achieved by inviting Faizat Hussein, a brand strategist, and a LinkedIn influencer with an impressive 22,000+ connections. She shed light on what makes an account stand out on LinkedIn and how to connect with the right audience, consequently landing that dream job or advancing one's career. Account optimization was also performed on the day.

The second phase of the project involves Data Analytics training. I personally carried out this project by teaching the basics of Data Analytics to individuals with no prior knowledge in the field. The motive behind this training was to ignite a passion for Data Analytics in these individuals by presenting the course in the most captivating and relatable way, using real-life scenarios from our immediate environment—the Federal University of Technology, Akure campus.
