Millennium Fellowship Project: Goal11:Sustainable cities and communities
A clean and green FUTO is an initiative to actively engage students of Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria in environmental sanitation by ways of public enlightenment, that is virtual classes , seminars, and workshops. This cuts through waste management and climate change/global warming. This project is aimed at creating a sustainable outcome that will enkindle and sustain the fire of environmental awareness on a cleaner environment in campus.
About the Millennium Fellow
Fervent Reuben, a young woman hailing from Imo State, Nigeria, is carving her path in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering at the Federal University of Technology Owerri. With deep-rooted faith as a devoted Christian, Fervent is equally passionate about fostering development and growth within her community. Her keen interest in politics drives her active engagement in socio-political discussions. While pursuing engineering, she's also venturing into the tech space with newfound curiosity. Fervent's diverse traits and pursuits make her a promising individual with a dynamic approach to life.
