Millennium Fellowship Project: Raising Awareness for Sustainable Global and Community Development at Georgia Tech
This project consists of a multi-faceted resource package to be utilized by Georgia Tech students in order to get more involved with global and community development on and off campus. The project includes an article to be disseminated through campus publications, a reading guide, and a guide to getting involved with global development and social impact across the Georgia Tech campus and in the Atlanta community.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sydney Wheeler is an International Affairs and Modern Languages student at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, USA. Sydney is passionate about global development, and has studied the field in many different capacities, from analyzing impacts of innovative technologies to studying disaster resilience. On campus, Sydney is involved in Engineers Without Borders-GT, undergraduate research, and the Women's Recruitment Team. After graduation, Sydney is hoping to pursue post-graduate study in international development or urban planning.
