Millennium Fellowship Project: Clean Water and Sanitation
People of our community are suffering from water borne diseases such as typhoid and cholera and this has pushed me into my project which seeks on educating the city of Harare and surrounding area's on waste water treatment, rain water harvesting, safe water re-use and implementation of the IWRM. Improve water quality by reducing pollution, minimizing release of harzadous chemicals and materials, and eliminating dumping of waste in water bodies . I have also discovered that besides lack of water treatment detergents by our city council, people of our community are playing a part in contaminating water by damping waste in water bodies and this leads to more diseases from contaminated sea foods and death of aquatic animals .
As part of my project , l am going to teach people good ways of waste disposal without polluting our water bodies.By practicising good dumping skills, we will protecting our aquatic animals.

Here is Brenda Jimu ,a student at Harare Institute of Technology .Currently in second year persuing bachelor of pharmacy honours degree. Brenda Jimu is a girl aged 21. She was born in a family of two .
