Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health Awareness

Our project on Mental Health Awareness seeks to address the critical need for increasing understanding and support for mental well-being within our community. Through a series of interactive workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns, we aim to destigmatize mental health challenges and promote open dialogues surrounding psychological well-being. Our project will collaborate with mental health professionals and local organizations to provide informative resources, support systems, and evidence-based strategies for self-care and community assistance. By fostering an environment of empathy, education, and advocacy, we aspire to empower individuals to prioritize their mental health and access the necessary resources for holistic well-being.

About the Millennium Fellow

Nathnael Tadesse- a hebrew word for "the gift of God". He was born and raised in Hossana, Central Ethiopia. It is a culturally rich community to which he owe most of his qualities. Respecting elders, socializing, hard work and self-confidence are at the heart of its custom. Though he still visit his families there, He currently live in the country's capital- Addis Ababa.
Coming from Central Ethiopia and delving into this cultural crossroad, it has really aided he in his journey of self-exploration. It has shone a light over the adventurous and curious part of himself. He was never static!
