Millennium Fellowship Project: Parent Standing with Children

Parent Standing with children
Parent Standing with children is basically about the active involvement of parent in their children's life.
And we have been able to reach out to schools during their PTA( parent teachers association) to talk to parents and we would also continue.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ajayi Tomilade Elizabeth is a student at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. The department of early childhood educational foundations. She's an enthusiastic achiever with background knowledge in seeking solutions to issues on childhood development and education.
She is extremely passionate about the sensitization of the socio-emotional development of children and as well loves imparting knowledge to children. She is currently working on a project titled Teachers Perception of parental negligence and children's social-emotional development which she hopes to use as an enlightment platform for parents.
She's also actively involved in different Non-government organizations (Ngos) which have helped her reach out to more children and parents on a large platform. She was an active participant in the enlightenment of the state violence against person prohibition(vpp law) hosted by the Ministry of women affairs in Ibadan, Nigeria. She looks forward to starting her Non-governmental organization where children's socio-emotional development is a priority and sensitization is key.
