Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Evexia

Project Evexia is a comprehensive initiative that advocates for and raises awareness about mental health among youths. The project is centred around three pillars -Advocacy, Information, and Therapy (AIT). The ultimate goal is to create a society of mentally sound and resilient adults who were exposed to strategies for maintaining mental health from an early age. By focusing on designated secondary and tertiary schools and collaborating with school management, Project Evexia aims to optimize the mental health of youths within a supportive school environment.

About the Millennium Fellow

Chijioke Mgbeobukwa is a medical student at the University of Ibadan driven by the 3rd Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 3) which is to promote good health and well-being. He’s also a research enthusiast with a diverse range of interests. He possesses good communication, organizational and leadership skills and works diligently to ensure dedicated services which makes him a valuable asset to reputable associations and organisations. Chijioke believes in a future where individual, community, and global health is optimized. Based on this belief, he’s open to projects that champion all components of health and well-being.
