Millennium Fellowship Project: Initiative For HIV/AIDS Education

Initiative for HIV/AIDS Education is a project that was aimed at educating rural teenagers in Ibadan, Oyo state and HIV/AIDS. It's transmission, detection and management. We did this by carrying out campaigns in public secondary schools in Ibadan and educating them about the virus. During this outreaches we spread facts about HIV and debunked myths about HIV/AIDS. We used story telling, print media and verbal communication to pass the message across to these teenagers. After the outreach we carried quiz competitions between the boys and girls to assess the success of the outreach.
