A statistics conducted by the World Health Organization in 2019 has showed that more than 2.6 million people between the ages of 10 to 24 die yearly from drug and substance abuse. Most deaths, illnesses and disabilities experienced by people have also been associated with substance use disorder than any other preventable health condition.
