Millennium Fellowship Project: The Green Ribbon Project

The Green Ribbon Project is a health based initiative birthed by five Millennium Fellows who are medical students at the pioneer medical school in Nigeria, College of Medicine University Ibadan. The initiative consists of a team of individuals who are passionate about lessening the overall burden of chronic kidney disease in our environment.
We intend to carry out a health awareness program at Idi-Ogungun primary health centre. Community members will be engaged in an intriguing and educational session led by seasoned medical personnel on non-communicable diseases and healthy lifestyles and proper nutrition. Complimentary medical checkups and laboratory tests will also be conducted to identify high risk individuals and refer as appropriate.
