Millennium Fellowship Project: STEAMfluence Hub
STEAMfluence Hub, conceived by me and carried out with the assistance of four dedicated Millennium Fellows, emerged as a beacon for STEAM education at Abadina School. Battling funding constraints, the team adeptly formed crucial partnerships, notably with the Faculty of Education at the University of Ibadan. The outreach event, featuring a compelling talk by Covenant Odedele, drew over 300 students, revealing an insatiable curiosity for STEAM subjects. Overcoming challenges such as self-funding and schedule clashes, the team's resilience shone through. Post-outreach, the project's impact persists through an ongoing mentorship program, exemplifying a commitment to continual growth and learning. STEAMfluence Hub not only fulfilled its educational mission but also fostered connections, leaving an enduring imprint on everyone involved, and affirming the transformative power of collaborative, determined initiatives in promoting accessible education.
