About the Millennium Fellow
I am Sakariyau Waris Ajibola. With a rich blend of experience, character, and compassion, I've emerged untainted by challenges. My roots lie in Ibadan, Oyo state, where I grew up as the cherished son of diligent parents who instilled in me a strong life foundation.
My academic journey kicked off at Lanfam Montessori Group of Schools and later led me to Adewunmi Model College. I'm currently a 300-level student at a prestigious university, focusing on Counselling and Human Development Studies. My dedication to service is evident through my involvement with numerous esteemed organizations like Nestle Entrepreneurship Academy, Yali Network Training, Ohealth Ambassador, Modifying Humanity Organization Ambassador, and Mottainai Africa Initiative Ambassador.
I've held significant leadership roles, serving as the President Elect of the University of Ibadan's Faculty of Education. My thirst for learning has driven me to attend various leadership trainings and conferences, such as Peace Resolution Move 2.0, Legislative and Youth Leadership Workshop 2020, YLA Leadership Hub, India Farmers Quiz, India International Webinar Conference, Naija Youth Speak Out Legislative Hackathon, and Nigerian Communication Commission Digital Literacy Training.
My heart's desire is to create a positive impact and contribute to societal betterment. My journey is a testament to the strength of determination, discipline, and a genuine passion for serving humanity.
