Millennium Fellowship Project: Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Innovation

17% of the global food waste is because of moisture in the surroundings. The methods used for drying the air use harmful chemicals like napthalene. This project is inspired from the characteristics of 4 organisms and mimics their abilities to capture humidity in the air and increase the shelf life of food products.

About the Millennium Fellow

Aryamaan Singh is a senior Civil Engineering student at Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India. Arya is passionate about applying knowledge for the benefit of all. He believes everything one does should have the greater good of the community as its core principle. He likes to take up challenges which seem the toughest and do his best to overcome them. Through his project he aims to create a guideline that helps governments plan their resources better and achieve circularity in their use. After graduating, he plans to pursue an MBA and work in the field of public policy development.
