Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Shakti

"Shakti" is a project committed to uplifting marginalized women by combining vocational training in employable skills with community engagement sessions. It aims to empower economically disadvantaged women by offering practical skills in areas like textiles and culinary arts for improved employability, while also fostering a sense of community through regular sessions on financial literacy, health, and personal development.
The project's execution involves a comprehensive needs assessment, customized training programs, and collaboration with local organizations. Active community partnerships ensure a culturally sensitive and holistic approach, with continuous monitoring guiding adjustments for effectiveness. Shakti envisions sustained impact through entrepreneurship promotion and the addressing of social barriers, aspiring to break the cycle of poverty and create positive transformations in the lives of marginalized women and their communities.
