Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Roshanai

Three sustainable development goals—quality education, gender equality, and peace, justice, and social institutions—are the foundations of Project Roshanai.
We believe that one effective tool for bringing about social change in society is education. Quality education is therefore our main objective. We shall also work towards the objectives of gender equality, peace, and justice via the medium of quality education. We hold the view that everyone has a right to a high-quality education, regardless of social inequalities. We will cooperate with organisations like Teach for India, which are already active in this sector, to achieve this.
Additionally, we will do courses that are filmed and delivered online, and I will always be accessible via phone for my pupils. Additionally, we will do courses that are filmed and delivered online, and I will always be accessible via phone for my pupils. We also desire to organise donation drives for these kids' education as well as webinars and discussions with well-known people. We will make sure to foster respect for both genders and instil the concepts of peace and justice in the minds of the youngsters via interactions.
To accomplish our three objectives for sustainable development, we would also work with groups like Peace Gong and Teach for India. All of these would contribute to the project's success.

About the Millennium Fellow

Jayasmita Saha is an undergraduate student studying English, Human Development and Family Empowerment at the University of Delhi. She is passionate about her subjects, through which she is exploring and working in the fields of change-making and writing. To be able to experience change, she believes that one must work towards it, no matter how small the step is. So she has been working on various projects, taking initiative, and organising events with her team to create awareness about various taboos. What fills her heart with more enthusiasm, she says, is when she witnesses the changes she worked for.
