Millennium Fellowship Project: de-Gender
The ‘De-Gender’ project is a comprehensive initiative aimed at dismantling the societal constructs based on sex and gender. It is also aimed at advancing the status of women through empowerment and awareness. This project is dedicated to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by women and other gender minorities in our country and promoting gender equality through social engagement. Through a combination of awareness campaigns, educational initiatives, and community engagement, the project seeks to create a more inclusive and equitable society.
About the Millennium Fellow
Riya Rohilla is a final year undergraduate student at Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi. Her academic focus lies in psychology as her major and philosophy as her minor. She is actively engaged in advocating for a spectrum of societal concerns, ranging from topics such as sexism, racism, human rights, to communal harmony. She is profoundly dedicated to advancing mental health awareness and understanding neurosciences. With a nuanced understanding of the complexities surrounding various societal issues, Riya engages in an advocacy that fosters inclusivity and equity. Trained in Peer Facilitation, Riya actively serves as a peer supporter on campus.
