Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainability at the Local Level: An Idea for Change
This project was aimed at raising awareness in the community regarding Sustainability. The main goal was to advance SDG 11 and 12.
Step 1 - Creating awareness through various means ( Social media, people - to - people, through webinars )
Step 2 - Understanding the Consumption patterns in the community.
Step 3 - Engaging with Local Leaders and Professors to promote sustainability in the society.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sanshita Pathak is a student of Geography Honours at Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi. Sanshita is passionate about environment, sustainability and social well-being. Her interests mostly center around Physical Geography. Through her project, she hopes to bring a change at the local level. Sanshita plans to pursue her further studies in Earth Sciences.
