Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Veera

Project Veera is a student initiative towards the development and
safety of Vulnerable sections of many developing countries. In
our case, We find that Women and Children particularly from low
income households are prone to Domestic Violence and deprivation of resources. One of the basic problems these underprivileged groups face is the lack of awareness, safe spaces around them, and opportunities to grow. Despite plenty of government initiatives and programs along with efforts by private organizations, There’s still a visible gap between these welfare agencies and the vulnerable groups.
Project Veera aims to combat these challenges and raise awareness among these classes practically and to guarantee that they have a secure life with access to the necessities. While instructing them on maximizing their available resources and cultivating optimism in their grim life!
Project Veera aims to affect Sustainable Development Goal 5 of gender
equality by spreading awareness against domestic violence and encouraging
skill development to make women self-sufficient. This project also aims to target Goal 10 of Reducing Inequalities by ensuring equal access to opportunities, resources, etc.
