Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, the most densely populated city in the world, is also experiencing the adverse effect of climate change. For the unplanned urbanization the city has no space for plantation. In Dhaka there are approximately half a million buildings. We can use the rooftop of those building as the alternative area for plantation.
So we are developing a mobile application named “Green Dhaka” for providing a platform to encourage and assist Dhaka city residents for rooftop gardening. Our model targets to address the problem of rising temperature due the effect of greenhouse gases.
