STEM Community, IUB (STEMcIUB) is a project initiative with a goal to connect and develop students who share a love for STEM, fostering a community that thrives on inclusivity and the drive to solve real-life problems. Our ultimate goal is to empower the next generation of innovators and problem solvers in our developing nation.
About the Millennium Fellow
Tanfia Khan Disha is an undergrad majoring in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at Independent University, Bangladesh. Beyond academia, she is the founding director of the STEM Community, IUB, where she promotes STEM education, scientific thinking and innovation among students. With a dedicated focus on education and health literacy, she is affiliated with Bangladeshi non-profits, striving to empower underprivileged communities. Tanfia's multifaceted interests encompass public health, psychology, and policymaking, all channeled through her writing, debating, design, and advocacy. In essence, with her strong academic foundation and experiences, she aspires to create a positive, lasting impact on the local and global communities.
