Millennium Fellowship Project: Quality Education through Quality Feeding

This project involves planting grafted fruit trees In basic education Schoools that are in poverty stricken areas.
This is to enhance a balanced diet for the children and also to relieve parents of the high burden of fruits
This will also help to keep the environment greener and cleaner

About the Millennium Fellow

Irene Njeri Kamau is a young researcher in science. She is an undergraduate student at Jomo Kenyatta university of agriculture and technology in Kenya. She has a passion of giving back to the community by maximizing in science knowledge. She is motivated by elevating the main problems in her society including environment pollution, hunger and unemployment by using the science skills and leadership skills
She loves communion with the broader realm of young people who are also impacting their societies in a positive way. She has participated majorly in climate awareness and neglected diseases research which maximizes on technology.
She aspires to use biotechnology skills to make a long lasting impact in the society and provide employment to young people through research
